Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan – Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu, who was in the country on an official visit on August 17. This was reported by the press service of the President.

It is reported that the issues of further strengthening the relations of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, enrichment with new practical content were considered.

At the beginning of the conversation, Foreign Minister Murat Nurtleu conveyed to the head of state the greetings and best wishes of the president of Kazakhstan Kasim-Joomart Tukayev. The leader of Uzbekistan noted that in the following years, a high level of bilateral cooperation was achieved, including fruitful dialogue at the level of parliaments, governments, territorial administrations, public and entrepreneurs.

The Joint Intergovernmental Commission and Working Group operate effectively. The volume of turnover has increased, and the scale of cooperation between the leading enterprises of the two countries is expanding. Cultural and humanitarian events are held regularly.

At the meeting, special attention was paid to measures to further activate Political Dialogue, accelerate projects in strategic sectors of the economy, expand humanitarian exchange programs and strengthen good neighborliness and partnership in the Central Asian region.
