Shavkat Mirziyoyev met with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on October 8.
During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Armenia, as well as the implementation of joint projects.
The importance of developing cooperation in sectors such as agriculture, jewelry, light industry, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and tourism was emphasized.
Currently, 80 enterprises involving Armenian capital are operating in Uzbekistan. Direct air links have also been established between Tashkent and Yerevan.
The parties also exchanged views on international and regional issues.
