Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Azerbaijan on a state visit

On August 22, Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Azerbaijan on a state visit at the invitation of Ilhom Aliyev.

According to the press service of the President, in accordance with the program of the visit, high-level talks will be held in Baku in narrow and expanded content. Bilateral agreements are planned to be adopted at the end of the negotiations.

Joint visits to the cities of Fuzuli and Shusha and other events with the participation of state leaders are planned.

On March 1, 2023, Shavkat Mirziyoyev paid a practical visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Ilhom Aliyev. The President took part in the plenary session of the summit of the Non-Aligned Movement in Baku, dedicated to the issues of post-pandemic recovery in the world. He held a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan and discussed current issues of bilateral importance.
