A meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States will be held in Kyrgyzstan.
Leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will discuss issues of cooperation expansion in Bishkek.
At the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS, which will be held in Bishkek, important decisions will be made aimed at expanding and strengthening cooperation between the member states of the Commonwealth in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
"Kabar" news agency reported this with reference to Muratbek Azimbakiyev, head of the foreign policy department of the administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
On October 13, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) will be held in Bishkek under the chairmanship of the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadir Japarov.
This year, Kyrgyzstan is chairing the bodies of the CIS. There are four statutory bodies in the Commonwealth, the most important of which is the Council of Heads of State.
In addition, a meeting of the Councils of Foreign Ministers will be held on October 12, and of the Councils of Government Heads on October 26.
