Shavkat Mirziyoyev Inspects Construction of Underground Parking Facility in New Tashkent

According to the presidential press service, the underground parking facility, with an area of 40,000 square meters and a cost of 100 million US dollars, will be able to accommodate 200 passenger cars as well as 30 motorcycles and scooters at the first stage. Pedestrian walkways will be built on all four sides to ensure convenient and safe movement.

The project предусматривает the introduction of automated parking systems, the establishment of bicycle rental points, and the construction of electric vehicle charging stations. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned in 2026.

The President instructed to increase the number of such modern parking facilities, ensure they are максимально удобны for residents, and further develop infrastructure to support the growing share of electric vehicles.
