Shavkat Mirziyoyev in Japan

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Tokyo on an official visit. At Haneda International Airport, the Head of State was welcomed by Japan’s Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, Yoshimasa Hayashi, along with other officials.

As part of the visit, the President met with Uzbek citizens working and studying in Japan and held an open dialogue with them.

The main events of the visit will take place on December 19–20. The President is scheduled to hold meetings with Emperor Naruhito of Japan, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, as well as representatives of government bodies, the business community, and academic circles. He will also take part in the first summit of the “Central Asia + Japan” dialogue.
