Shavkat Mirziyoyev holds security council meeting

On February 21, Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Center for Innovative Technologies of the Defense Industry Agency, got acquainted with the production facilities, advanced developments, military and dual-purpose products there, and held a meeting of the Security Council. The meeting set priority tasks for 2025 and the coming years. It highlighted the need to create new units in the army to combat drones and counter them, use cyber structures with artificial intelligence, robotic equipment, and air defense.
The meeting also noted the further development of the new system of modernization and modern armament of the army - the defense industry, and the creation of additional enterprises. It was noted that the Armed Forces have established bilateral military cooperation with more than 20 countries and achieved high performance in more than 400 joint exercises.
