Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates young people who won the Para Asian Games

At the 2025 Youth Para Asian Games held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the Uzbek delegation won 99 gold, 57 silver and 41 bronze medals, taking 1st place in the overall team standings. This was the highest result for the country in the history of the Para Asian Games.
The President’s congratulatory message specifically recognized the unbending will and high skill of the athletes, noting that a number of para athletes had set world and Asian records. It was also noted that the national anthem of Uzbekistan was played nearly 100 times during the tournament, which is an important indicator that has increased the prestige of the country.
The Head of State noted that new decisions on the development of the Paralympic movement will create additional opportunities for athletes, and reforms aimed at building an inclusive society will continue consistently.
