Shavkat Mirziyoyev Congratulates the Prime Minister of Georgia on His Birthday

The President held a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze. At the beginning of the conversation, the Head of State congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his birthday, wishing him robust health and the people of Georgia prosperity and continued progress. During the discussion, the parties addressed the implementation of agreements reached following Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s state visit to Georgia on July 2–3 of this year.
Special attention was paid to further developing the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Georgia, increasing the volume of mutual trade, and expanding industrial cooperation.
Issues regarding the strengthening of transport connectivity between the two countries through the effective use of the infrastructure at Georgia’s Poti and Anaklia ports were also reviewed.
