Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the President of Tajikistan on his birthday

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon had a telephone conversation. This was reported by the President's press service.

The head of state congratulated the leader of Tajikistan on his birthday, wished him good health, happiness and success, and peace and prosperity to the brotherly Tajik people. The contribution of Emomali Rahmon to the achievement of today's level of friendship, strategic partnership and alliance in Uzbekistan-Tajikistan relations was specially noted.

It was noted that active communication and exchanges are developing. The volume of mutual trade is increasing. Cooperation projects are being implemented in trade, investment, industry, energy, agriculture and other priority areas.

They also exchanged views on issues of regional cooperation. The fifth consultative meeting of the leaders of the Central Asian countries and the jubilee summit of the International Fund for Saving the Island, held in Dushanbe on September 14-15, were highly appreciated.
