Dear people, I sincerely congratulate all the people of Uzbekistan on July 30 - People's Friendship Day, and express my high respect and best wishes to all of you.

Our multi-ethnic nation is our greatest wealth, inter-ethnic and inter-confessional solidarity in our country is the solid foundation of all our achievements and goals.

In the ancient and unique land of Uzbekistan, which has been famous for its traditions of friendship, brotherhood and tolerance since time immemorial, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and peoples live peacefully and harmoniously and make a worthy contribution to the development of our country. , religious organizations of 16 denominations, 38 friendship societies and 153 national cultural centers operate freely.

Educational processes are conducted in 7 languages in the state educational institutions of our country, and our children studying in sister-language schools are provided with textbooks and fiction literature at the expense of the state.

"Friendship Houses" in all our regions play an important role in strengthening friendship and solidarity between citizens of different nationalities.

Our large-scale work aimed at strengthening relations with our compatriots living in foreign countries also serves to increase the reputation of Uzbekistan as a land of friendship and humanity.

Today, on this joyful occasion, various cultural-educational and scientific-practical events held within the framework of the "Friendship of Peoples" festival are of incomparable importance in further establishing the extremely important principle of "Uzbekistan - our common home", which has become the rule of our lives. Of course we all understand.

In accordance with our noble tradition, our compatriots of various nationalities and peoples have been awarded the Order of our State for their great services in strengthening interethnic friendship and harmony, preserving the atmosphere of mutual solidarity and kindness prevailing in our society, and developing the activities of national cultural centers. awarded with medals. We will consistently continue our policy aimed at ensuring harmony between nations and confessions, freedom of conscience of every citizen of Uzbekistan, regardless of nationality, language, religion and social origin.
