Shavkat Mirziyoyev Awarded Pakistan’s Highest State Honor — the Nishan-e-Pakistan Order

A ceremonial event was held at the Aiwan-e-Sadr residence in Islamabad where the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was awarded Pakistan’s highest state decoration — the Nishan-e-Pakistan Order. The award was presented by President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari.

It was подчеркнуто that this prestigious honor recognizes the efforts to strengthen the strategic partnership and expand comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Both sides emphasized that bilateral relations are entering a new stage.

Previously, the order has been awarded to Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and other world leaders.
