Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening of the “Uzbekistan Mahalla” residential complex in Turkey

As part of his official visit to Turkey, Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the opening ceremony of the “Uzbekistan Mahalla” residential complex built for families affected by the earthquake in the Arsuz district of the Hatay region.
The Head of State invited representatives of the Hatay population to a 5-day visit to Uzbekistan on the occasion of the Navruz holiday and proposed organizing a trip along the Andijan-Samarkand-Khiva route. 
It was reported that the “Uzbekistan Mahalla” project was implemented with the support of the Government of Uzbekistan and in cooperation with the Turkish TOKI agency. The complex is located on an area of ​​​​2.2 hectares and includes 306 apartments in 24 buildings. The houses are fully equipped, infrastructure, children's and sports grounds, and parking lots have been built.
The "Uzbekistan Mahalla" is a clear symbol of friendship, trust, and mutual respect between Uzbekistan and Turkey.
