⚡️ Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the EEC summit
On June 27, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev attended the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Minsk as the head of the observer state under the Eurasian Economic Union. Representatives of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Cuba, Iran, the UAE, Mongolia and the CIS also attended the summit.
The meeting discussed areas such as multilateral economic cooperation, industrial cooperation, digital technologies, agriculture, logistics and labor migration.
The head of state noted that Uzbekistan's trade turnover with the EEC increased by 80 percent and reached $18 billion in 2023. He also expressed his readiness to continue participating in projects such as "Eurasian Agroexpress", digital trade, transport corridors, artificial intelligence technologies and "Labor without Borders".
The President noted that Uzbekistan is committed to further strengthening economic ties through multilateral cooperation.
