⚡️ Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the second Central Asia-China summit

 

On June 17, Shavkat Mirziyoyev traveled to Almaty to participate in the second Central Asia-China summit at the invitation of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The summit is being attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping and the leaders of the Central Asian states of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. This is the first high-level summit held in Central Asia with other heads of state, marking a new stage in expanding regional cooperation.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev also held talks with Xi Jinping in Kazakhstan. The meeting also exchanged views on the international agenda. At the end of the meeting, it was announced that a protocol had been signed on the completion of bilateral negotiations on Uzbekistan's accession to the WTO.
