Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Giorgia Meloni visited the exhibition in Samarkand

 

On May 29, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni visited the exhibition “Uzbekistan and Italy: Dialogue of Civilizations” organized at the Samarkand Congress Center. The exposition is dedicated to the historical, scientific and cultural ties between the two countries and consists of 9 thematic sections.

The guests were shown a unique copy of the Afrosiab mural created by the Italian master Mauro Pellison.

Giorgia Meloni arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit on May 28. Upon his arrival in Samarkand, he was personally welcomed by the president. The leaders visited Registan Square and the “Immortal City” historical park, and a cultural program was presented.
