Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva awarded the Asian Order of the Asian Paralympic Committee

Shahnoza Mirziyoyeva, First Deputy Director of the National Agency for Social Protection under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, First Deputy Chairwoman of the National Paralympic Committee of Uzbekistan, and a member of the World Aquatics Bureau, has been awarded the Asian Order of the Asian Paralympic Committee for her contributions to promoting equality, inclusion, protecting the rights of persons with disabilities, and advancing parasport among them.

It should be noted that thanks to their initiative, the Association of Adaptive Sports of Uzbekistan was established, which has significantly advanced rehabilitation through sport. In particular, substantial work is being carried out to expand the participation of women and girls with disabilities in adaptive sports.
