Sexual assault of 65-year-old woman: Criminal case opened against 26-year-old man
A 65-year-old woman in the Dashkesan district of Azerbaijan reported that she was sexually assaulted by a 26-year-old man. She said the incident occurred in July 2025. The man entered the woman's house with the intention of causing trouble and raped her. After the woman contacted law enforcement agencies, she said that she was being threatened by the suspect's relatives. The man's brother offered her "reconciliation through marriage", but the woman refused.
A criminal case has been opened against a person born in 2000. The investigation is currently ongoing.
