A powerful storm has struck Asunción, the capital of Paraguay, and other parts of the country. Tennis-ball-sized hail damaged cars and the roofs of houses. Strong winds also damaged power lines, causing electricity outages in some areas.
A yellow alert has been issued across the country. Meteorologists are warning of heavy rain, hail, and winds reaching speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour in the eastern regions of Paraguay.
