Seven people were killed when a mosque building collapsed in the city of Zaria in the north of Nigeria. This is reported by the Reuters agency. The building of the Central Mosque collapsed during the Asr prayer. There were more than a hundred people inside at that time. According to one of the local officials, the rescuers immediately reached the scene of the tragedy. At first, the members of the rescue team took out four bodies from under the rubble, and then three more lifeless bodies. The agency added that laws are poorly enforced in Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, and construction materials rarely meet standards.
