WHO has provided information about the outbreak of Nipah virus in the state of Kerala. Two deaths were observed due to Nipah infection.
The sanitary-epidemiological committee of Uzbekistan has commented on the news on social networks that two people have died from the Nipah virus spread in the Indian state of Kerala.

The World Health Organization has provided information about the Nipah virus outbreak in the Indian state of Kerala. As of September 22 this year, six cases of Nipah infection have been confirmed and two deaths have occurred.

Nipah virus is a type of virus that causes serious illness with inflammation of the brain or respiratory tract.

Entrepreneurs going for business or Uzbeks planning to travel to India are reminded of the importance of following the following recommendations to avoid this virus:

compliance with personal hygiene rules;
wash fruits thoroughly before eating;
boil and drink freshly squeezed date juice;
Avoid eating fruits that have been scratched or bitten by bats.

"Do not forget that it is important to follow the established rules and recommendations in the prevention of any disease," the official statement said.
