Serious inspections of commercial facilities have begun after the tragic fire at Aviator

Inspections have begun in Tashkent for compliance with fire safety requirements in shopping and entertainment centers. The activities of facilities where violations were detected will be temporarily suspended until the deficiencies are fully eliminated.
Inspections were intensified after a fire in the Aviator shopping center that killed a young child. Officials are examining the condition of automatic fire extinguishing and notification systems, evacuation routes, fire hydrants, and “Exit” signs.
In particular, the children's play area of ​​the Globus Mall shopping and entertainment complex in Uchtepa district was temporarily closed due to gross violations of fire safety requirements and a threat to people's lives. Currently, the owners of the facility are taking measures to eliminate the identified deficiencies. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that employees are being given explanations on how to act correctly in emergency situations.
