Serdar Berdimuhamedov accepted the credentials of the new Ambassador of Azerbaijan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the new Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan Gismat Fuzuli oglu Gozalov, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

The diplomat conveyed greetings to the head of the Turkmen state from President Ilham Aliyev, who confirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to traditional interstate dialogue that meets the interests of the two neighboring countries and peoples.

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment and conveying return greetings to his Azerbaijani counterpart, the President of Turkmenistan noted the positive dynamics in relations between the two countries, which concerns both political bilateral dialogue and trade and economic partnership, as well as interaction within the framework of authoritative international and regional organizations.

During the meeting, an interested exchange of views took place on the prospects for further deepening and building up cooperation in a wide range of areas, as reported in the evening news release of the Turkmen State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
