Security guard jailed for insulting courier in Tashkent
A video showing a confrontation between a courier and a security guard at an apartment complex circulated on social media, sparking public discussion. A court ruling has been issued regarding the incident.
The incident took place on September 6 in Tashkent’s Yunusabad district. According to the 20-year-old courier, who had arrived to deliver an order, the security guard insulted him, took his cap, and refused to return it.
The security guard admitted to attempting to stop the courier from entering the building and to insulting him during the altercation.
The court found the security guard guilty of petty hooliganism and sentenced him to 10 days of administrative detention.
