Secretary of the Security Council Viktor Mahmudov said that pressure from foreign forces continues on the countries of Central Asia

At the 12th International Meeting of High Representatives on Security Issues held at Expoforum in St. Petersburg, Viktor Mahmudov, Secretary of the Security Council under the President of Uzbekistan, spoke about the continuing pressure on the Central Asian countries by foreign forces.
According to him, Uzbekistan regards the Central Asian region as a foreign policy priority and is making active efforts to establish a space of peace, security and trust in this region. Today, the countries of the region continue to experience the pressure of external forces that encourage them to choose without taking into account the national interests of the Central Asian countries.
