Schools reopen in Gaza after war

After two years of war, education in Gaza has begun to resume. According to the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), classes have resumed in some schools since the peace agreement came into effect. So far, more than 25,000 children have started studying in “temporary education centers,” while about 300,000 students are receiving online education.
Classes began at the Al-Hassaina School in Nuseirat on November 1. The building served as a shelter for many families during the war, some of whom still live there. Due to a lack of classrooms and desks, children are studying on the floor.
So far, schools in Gaza are teaching Arabic, English and mathematics.
