Schoolgirls’ Fight in Samarkand: 12 Parents Fined

A video has circulated on social media showing a group of schoolgirls in the Urgut district fighting and pulling each other’s hair.

According to official reports, the incident took place on October 13–14 between F.F., a student of Grade 9A, and R.G., a student of Grade 9B at School No. 41. The conflict started over the phone, and the girls later met on Sarbozor Street in Qoratepa neighborhood, where the fight occurred.

The case was investigated jointly with law enforcement authorities, and 12 parents of the involved students were fined under Article 47 of the Administrative Responsibility Code.
