Schoolchildren from Tajikistan and other CIS countries unfurled the world's largest Victory Banner in Makhachkala.

Russian, Belarusian and Kyrgyz students of educational institutions also took part in the action.
It is noted that the flag measuring 65 by 35 meters was raised in the central square of Makhachkala.
The event is timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of the end of the battle for the Caucasus, the ministry’s press service added.
The international project "Unconquered" is implemented by the International Lomonosov Club with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund, the Federal Agency for Nationalities, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
Thus, the goal of the project is to introduce young people to the multinational unity of the peoples of Russia, the feat of fraternal peoples during the Great Patriotic War.
In addition, patriotic events, educational sessions, discussion platforms and car rallies are planned as part of the project, the press service noted.
