School shooting in Thailand leaves 7 people dead
A student carried out a shooting at Debsirin Nonthaburi School in Thailand on August 7, killing 7 people and injuring 23 others.
According to reports, the 14-year-old student shot and killed his grandparents at home before going to school, then attacked the school using a firearm belonging to his grandfather. Five people were killed in the attack. The student died by suicide at the end of the attack. The motive for the shooting has not yet been determined.
Thai police described the incident as one of the country's deadliest mass killings since 2022.
