A video of a “sausage bun” purchased from a store near a school being infested with worms has been circulating on social media. It was determined that the sausage belonged to the “Sag’bon” brand, and the Tashkent City Department of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Committee, together with the business ombudsman, conducted an unscheduled inspection of the “Sag’bon” manufacturing enterprise located in the Almazar district of the capital. As a result of the inspection, no serious violations that could affect the quality of the products were identified.
Experts explained that the incident with the appearance of worms was not related to violations in the production process, but to improper storage of the product at the point of sale.
