Saudi Arabia has opened the possibility for citizens of 8 other countries to obtain an entry visa to the kingdom through an electronic visa portal. Citizens of these countries can also receive a visa at Royal ports or borders.
The Royal Ministry of Tourism reported that the system, which was opened in order to expand visa issuance, can now be used by citizens of a total of 57 countries. These countries included Albania, Maldives, Azerbaijan, Georgia, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
The Saudi e-visa is a one-year, multiple entry visa that allows tourists to stay in the country for up to 90 days.
With a tourist visa, it is possible to carry out various activities, travel and Recreation, a visit as a guest with family and relatives, as well as an Umrah pilgrimage.
With this visa it is impossible to make a pilgrimage. Also, an electronic visa does not give the right to work in the Kingdom and live. When the e-visa expires, it can be issued for a new period.
