Satellite Internet to be Tested in Uzbekistan
Satellite Internet will be launched in Uzbekistan in 2026 as a trial. It is planned to cover remote areas with high-speed Internet. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov said that in recent years, Internet coverage has increased from 41 percent to 99.5 percent. Now the main focus is on hard-to-reach areas. Work is also underway in the country to develop artificial intelligence, expand digital infrastructure, and increase the number of startups.
