Sardor Mamadaliyev fined for copyright infringement
In September 2025, singer Sardor Mamadaliyev performed the songs "Kormisham", "Bandaman" and "Karvon" by the late artist Sherali Jo'rayev in the Chust district of the Namangan region without permission from the estate administrator. He also posted his performance on social networks.
According to the court decision, Mamadaliyev was found guilty of violating copyright and related rights and was fined 20 times the amount of the Civil Code - 8 million 240 thousand soums.
The singer was also fined for not wearing a seat belt while going to court in this case.
