On the evening of November 26, blogger Sanjar Karimov, known as Real Sanjik, was detained during a special raid. Human rights activist Abdurakhmon Tashanov reported this on social networks. According to information, the capital's Internal Affairs Bureau operational group came to the blogger's house, carried out procedural actions and took him to the department. Real Sanjik was charged with extortion and illegal possession of firearms. These articles provide for a minimum of 3-5 years in prison, and in some cases the term of imprisonment may be even longer. We recall that in Tashkent, a fraudulent groom sold his bride's house to get a loan from Sanjar Rakhimov. The "Controversial House" case was concluded and the house was returned to the owner, that is, the girl. The fraudulent groom was sentenced to 9 years in prison. On April 10 of this year, a court investigation began in the Mirzo Ulugbek district of Tashkent on the case of Sanjar Karimov. The case is being considered under the chairmanship of Judge Bahrom Berdiev. It is noted that at the beginning of the court session, the state prosecutor, prosecutor Kasimov, filed a motion to restrict the activities of media representatives. The majority of lawyers supported this motion, while some left the matter to the discretion of the court. The court partially satisfied the prosecutor's motion and prohibited journalists from broadcasting live and recording the court session, but allowed them to prepare audio and photo materials. During the court investigation, the mother of one of the victims, Shahzod Rismatov, the main character mentioned in the case related to the future bride-groom scandal, testified. In his speech, he announced that two houses belonging to the family and seven cars belonging to his son had been sold due to pressure.
