The reputable Egyptian publication Al-Liwaa Al-Islami featured on its front page the advancement of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Al-Azhar to a new stage. It was emphasized that this process is being carried out at the initiative of Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan.

The article notes that Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, has expressed readiness to deepen scientific and educational cooperation with Uzbekistan. International experts positively assess Uzbekistan’s approach to countering extremism, which relies not on coercive measures but on education and reforms.

Within the framework of cooperation, plans include expanding grants and quotas for Uzbek students, as well as establishing continuous exchanges of experience between scholars and experts. These initiatives aim to strengthen the spiritual foundation of the “Third Renaissance” concept.
