Saida Mirziyoyeva Met with the Pope

Yesterday, on 11 December, Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Pope Leo XIV as part of the meeting of the Sheikh Zayed “Human Fraternity” Award committee.

During the meeting, the main directions of the award’s activities aimed at expanding intercultural and interfaith understanding were discussed.

It was emphasized that representatives of various religious denominations, including Catholics, live in an atmosphere of harmony and tolerance in Uzbekistan. The award aims to strengthen these values at the international level.

Willingness was also expressed to work jointly on projects aimed at promoting trust and humanitarian principles around the world.
