Saida Mirziyoyeva met with Egypt’s Grand Imam Sheikh Ahmed El-Tayeb.

Yesterday, within the framework of the jury meeting of the Sheikh Zayed Award for Human Fraternity, a meeting was held with the Grand Imam of the Al-Azhar complex, Sheikh Ahmed Mohammed El-Tayeb.

During the meeting, key issues related to fulfilling the mission of the award through promoting peace, mutual understanding, and human dignity were discussed. The importance of preserving and further developing the principles enshrined in the Human Fraternity Declaration, as well as supporting initiatives aimed at strengthening global cooperation and mutual respect, was emphasized.

We were also honored to visit one of the oldest mosques in the world — Al-Azhar.
