Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres in New York on September 22.
During the meeting, key areas of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UN, as well as international and regional issues, were discussed.
"I express my sincere gratitude to Mr. Guterres for demonstrating global leadership during this challenging time for the international relations system and for supporting our country across all key aspects of security," said the Head of the Presidential Administration.
The meeting took place within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly. The session's general debates are scheduled for September 22–26 and September 28.
