Saida Mirziyoyeva Meets with Chairman of China’s Parliament

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration of Uzbekistan, met in China with Zhao Leji, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. Saida Mirziyoyeva announced the meeting on her Telegram channel.

According to her, the meeting focused on the strengthening relations between Uzbekistan and China in recent years as a result of consistent and effective dialogue between the leaders of the two countries. Interparliamentary dialogue is also entering a new stage.

“We highly value the support of the Chinese side and its commitment to jointly implementing concrete projects in the areas of transport, trade, education and culture. We have many common plans ahead, and the main task is to consistently put them into practice.

I express my gratitude to Mr. Zhao Leji for the open and meaningful dialogue,” Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote on her Telegram channel.

Saida Mirziyoyeva also congratulated the Communist Party of China on the 105th anniversary of its founding. She stated that Uzbekistan adheres to the One-China principle, supports the four global initiatives put forward by China, and hopes to strengthen friendly exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries and deepen cooperation in areas such as the economy, transport, education and the fight against terrorism.
