Saida Mirziyoyeva discusses urban planning and environmental issues in Tashkent

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Head of the Presidential Administration, held a meeting with sector specialists to discuss urban planning, environmental and infrastructure-related issues in Tashkent.

The meeting was attended by initiators of major architectural projects, independent experts, urban planners, creative studios, and representatives of higher education institutions.

The participants discussed the growing pressure on engineering infrastructure and social facilities amid Tashkent’s rapid expansion, as well as problems related to electricity and water supply.

Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized that new construction projects should contribute to the city’s development, avoid creating additional imbalances, and not place excessive pressure on existing infrastructure.
