Saida Mirziyoyeva discussed cooperation issues with the President of Tatarstan

Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva met with the Chairman of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Republic of Tatarstan on December 1. The parties considered the priority areas of trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Tatarstan.

Saida Mirziyoyeva noted that special attention is paid to the historical closeness, cultural ties and humanitarian cooperation between the peoples. She said that one of the largest Tatar diasporas lives in Uzbekistan, and Tatarstan is one of Uzbekistan's important educational partners in Russia - more than 3.5 thousand Uzbek students are currently studying there.

At the end of the meeting, Mirziyoyeva expressed confidence that mutually beneficial cooperation will be further strengthened.
