President Sadir Japarov received the Chief Ombudsman of the Republic of Turkey Sheref Malkoch, who visited Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by the press service of the head of state.
The parties exchanged views on the intensification of bilateral cooperation in the field of human rights protection on the basis of generally recognized principles and norms of international law.
The President highly appreciated the intention of Sheref Malkoch during his visit to Kyrgyzstan to establish contacts and exchange of experience between the institutions of the ombudsman of the two countries.
Noting that strategic cooperation and fraternal relations between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey are growing day by day, Sadyr Japarov expressed confidence that Sheref Malkoch's rich experience in public service will make a significant contribution to the further strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
The State Comptroller of Turkey thanked Sadir Japarov for his hospitality and conveyed greetings from President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Noting the dynamically developing bilateral relations based on brotherhood, he stressed the need to strengthen partnership in the field of human rights.
Giving information about the memorandum of understanding signed during the visit to expand cooperation between the Ombudsmen of the two countries, Sheref Malkoch expressed readiness for close cooperation with Kyrgyz colleagues through mutual visits and exchange of experience.
