Rustam Emomali met with the Mayor of Beijing

The chairman of the upper house of Tajikistan, together with the mayor of Beijing, signed a memorandum of understanding, friendship and cooperation as a result of negotiations

Speaker of the Upper House of the Tajik Parliament Rustam Emomali met with Beijing Mayor Yin Yong.

This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic.

It is noted that at the beginning of the conversation, Rustam Emomali thanked the Chinese side for the warm welcome and hospitality.

"Constant attention is paid to the expansion of inter-parliamentary ties, which meets the goals and principles of the strategic partnership," they stressed at the talks.

Thus, the parties expressed interest in expanding cooperation between Dushanbe and Beijing in the areas of tourism, education, science and technology, as well as healthcare.

In addition, Rustam Emomali expressed confidence that the further strengthening of cooperation with the Chinese capital will give a new impetus to the further expansion of relations, the expansion and strengthening of economic and cultural ties.

As a result of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding, Friendship and Cooperation was signed between the administrations of Dushanbe and Beijing.

Earlier, Speaker of the Upper House of the Tajik Parliament Rustam Emomali arrived in Beijing on an official visit. Thus, the chairman of the upper house of the republic has already laid a wreath at the monument to people's heroes in Tiananmen Square, and also visited the Museum of the History of the Communist Party of China.
