Russian Ryan Gosling
🔸 Director Sean Baker, who invited Yura Borisov to the film “Anora”, called him “Russian Ryan Gosling”. The Associated Press asked Yura what he thought about such a comparison. In response, the actor laughed and noted that he did not understand why he was called that.
“I love Ryan Gosling and I would like to work with him someday. He plays very well. But I do not know what Sean means,” said Borisov.
Yura Borisov gained fame abroad after the release of the film “6-Coupe” in 2021, and his participation in the film “Anora” made him a world-class star. He is the first Russian actor to be nominated for an Oscar.
