Russian plane crashes in Crimea
An An-26 military transport plane has crashed in the territory annexed by Russia in Crimea. The accident killed 29 people - 6 crew members and 23 passengers. The plane crashed during a scheduled flight and lost contact with the aircraft at around 6:00 p.m. on March 31. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, no external attack has been detected, and a technical malfunction is considered the initial cause. Some sources also reported that the plane hit a rock.
