From July 10, 2025, Rosobrnadzor will increase the number of listening comprehension tasks in the Russian language exam for migrants who will receive a patent or residence permit from 2 to 4 and will require a minimum score for the listening comprehension and speaking sections. From July 23, 2025, the question bank will be doubled. From January 1, 2026, exams in the Russian language, Russian history and legal fundamentals will be held only via computer and remote technologies.
