The press secretary of the Prime Minister, Bekzod Hidoyatov, said that Russia's proposal to build a school in Uzbekistan is being misinterpreted on social networks. "The essence of a specific proposal on cultural and humanitarian cooperation made today in Moscow at the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation is being misinterpreted. Based on mutual official agreements between states, there is a tradition of building schools and similar social facilities on the territory of another state at the expense of one state in the world experience. This is classified as mutual social assistance," the Prime Minister's press secretary wrote. He said that it is a world experience that countries build a school on each other's territory, and even if such a school is built, its program will be thoroughly studied. "It should be noted that educational programs of schools built by foreign countries are first thoroughly studied by experts in the field from the point of view of our national customs, values and traditions, our history, current laws, existing educational standards. . If the proposed school and its program meet the above-mentioned requirements, a license for the operation of this educational institution will be issued in accordance with the established procedure," said Bekzod Hidoyatov. For information, on September 18, the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of heads of government of Uzbekistan and Russia was held in Moscow. In it, Russia stated that if the Uzbek side is interested, it is ready to build several schools in Uzbekistan, which will be taught in Russian according to Russian programs.
