Russia proposes nighttime Internet restrictions to increase birth rate

 

Bryansk Regional Duma deputy Mikhail Ivanov attributed the lack of children in young families to “Internet addiction” and proposed introducing a digital restriction from 23:00 to 02:00.

According to the deputy, young people spend time in front of screens at night, moving away from real communication and family values.

He called this initiative “a reasonable measure for the well-being of society.” According to the proposal, such an experiment could be launched on a voluntary basis, with the participation of providers and psychologists.
