Russia Places Pavel Durov on International Wanted List
Russia has placed Telegram founder Pavel Durov on an international wanted list and charged him with aiding terrorism.
The Russian Federal Security Service alleges that channels, chats, and bots used by Ukrainian-linked special services to prepare terrorist acts were not removed from the Telegram platform.
Pavel Durov and Telegram have not yet issued an official statement regarding these accusations.
Durov had previously announced that a criminal case had been opened against him in Russia on charges of aiding terrorism.
