Russia complains about the shortage of migrants

53% of companies in Russia reported that there is a shortage of foreign workers. In a survey conducted by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, companies complained about difficulties in attracting migrant workers, a lack of necessary specialists, candidates not being able to pass Russian language tests and restrictions on hiring workers.

The flow of migrants to Russia has decreased during the coronavirus pandemic. This situation did not improve even after the war against Ukraine in 2022. After the terrorist attack on "Crocus City Hall", the situation became more tense.
